The psychologist, Carl Jung, described hidden part of our psyche as “the shadow”. It’s the part that sometimes frightens us with the things we don’t know, or don’t want to know about ourselves.

It is essentially our unconscious mind telling us what it wants. Sometimes it comes in dreams, other times and a welling up of emotion.

I Just had some thoughts about this so-called “dark” side and how it applies to learning mind control.

Some people are so oppressed that showing any interest in this shadow side creates fear if for no better reason than it’s what you were told not to do.

We all are likely to remember the voice of Darth Vader saying “Come to the Dark Side, Luke!”

That shadow side exists and many, many, MANY people will tell you to destroy it. To destroy your passions, wants, needs and desires. They will plead with us to connect with something higher that we can only dream and guess about.

They offer us something greater without really being clear on what it is.

Their hope is that if we give up everything that makes us animals we will become more Human, or perhaps we might even become Divine.

We can dream.

But do we dream at the cost of denying what we want right here and now?

In a society (family/relationship) that endevours to control and oppress in one way or another sometimes the “shadow” side of us is the most healthy and doing the forbidden, i.e., loving your shadow is the best thing that you can do for yourself.

They present it like an either/or proposition. Should it be?

By embracing the fact that we are animals (prove to me you don’t have a genetic make up and I’ll believe otherwise) and still reaching upwards perhaps we can come to a middle and sensible ground.

See the game of life and politics, i.e. mind control, as part of the Big Picture and one can walk Wide Awake with feet firmly planted on the ground and still reaching upwards.

It’s the best of both worlds.

Why would you want less?

Global warming and rising sea levels, yet a water shortage.

As the earth heats up and the ice caps melt, the sea levels start to rise - and what do we have - hose-pipe bans and a situation of “water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink”!

After every long winter, the warm and sunny weather finally arrives - together with hose-pipe bans for many of us. I am lucky to live in an area that has not banned the use of hose-pipes, but because I have a water meter, I am very conscious of how much water I use. I would like to be able to say that my concern is only for the environment, and that does matter to me, but the amount of my bills is a factor that is rather more important at the moment. I already have three water-butts and 2 plastic dustbins for storing rain water, but they do not last very long when you are watering thirsty runner beans. So I have started to save my shower water! Any recycled water is known as “grey water” and can be bath or shower water, washing up water or water from your washing machine. You can use this water in your garden for plants and shrubs, but it is not a good idea to water your fruit and vegetables with this water saving method because of the chemicals used in the various soap products. Also, if you want to save the water from your washing machine, then you need to change to non-bio washing powder or liquid. Washing up water needs to be filtered first - but this can be done by pouring the saved water into a watering can or bucket through an old pair of tights (is there no end to the use of old tights?)

So, my shower water is now collected & saved instead of going straight down the drain. My next door neighbour has been very helpful and put an extension piece onto the pipe that is connected to the outlet from my bath so it now empties into a large container. But he has done it in a way that means I can re-divert back to the drains during the winter. I should add that I live in a bungalow, so this has not been too big a job. The container was given to me and my neighbour had a piece of plumbing pipe in his garage, so there has been no cost involved in saving this water. I am managing to save about 50 litres of water per shower, which is enough to water my shrubs and plants that are not established and whose roots have not yet grown down far enough to obtain enough moisture by themselves. I have never thought it worth watering the lawn, although I realise some people want their grass to be green, not patchy and brown like mine.

If your drains are situated in a place that means you cannot put a container nearby, and you don’t want to carry watering cans through your home, there is a gadget now available from many gardening stores and on the internet. It is called a “drought buster” and is, basically, a length of hose-pipe with a “bulb” near one end and uses atmospheric pressure to draw the water up from the bath and through the hose pipe. A few squeezes of the bulb will start the water flowing and, if the pipe is long enough, you can put the other end out through a window into a container. The hose can be lengthened by using standard hose pipe connectors.

I know you can also purify water with certain plants, so after I’ve watered the garden with the saved water i think I’ll look up my books to see which reeds will clean up the water from my washing machine - then I’ll be able to top up the pond!

Choosing a contractor to build your pool isn’t that much unlike choosing a contractor to work on any other part of your house. You need to be wary, do your research, and be armed with a few key pieces of advice. Below are some bits of that very advice you need before choosing your pool contractor.

The first thing you want to do is get more than one quote. Three to five quotes are usually considered ideal. Going the extra mile on this step really is worth your time especially since any good contractor will provide a quote free of charge. Make sure you read the fine print and do a comparison of all the bids. Use all the same materials and the same design when talking to the contractor so that when they write out the quote, you can later compare the same things. Different quotes don’t do much good if they’re all for different things. Make sure the contractor comes to visit your home so they can see the site where the pool is to be built.

Ask the contractor for testimonials. There are fewer things that are as reassuring as hearing from others that the contractor is worth his salt. Ask others if they have ever heard of the contractors that you are considering. When speaking to the past customers, ask how the service was and how problems were handled. Also ask about how much time it took for the pool to be built. While you want the contractor to take the time to do a good job, you don’t want to start building a pool in April only to still have an empty hole in your backyard in December.

You absolutely must make sure that they are licensed and insured. In most states (if not all) pool contractors must have a license. And it only makes good business sense to make sure that they are insured if any unforeseen problems arise. Also check with the Better Business Bureau to see how they rank there.

There have been a lot of research studies on micro bubbles in recent years.

Micro bubbles are miniature gas bubbles of less than 50 microns diameter in water. The micro bubbles, which mostly contain oxygen or air, can remain suspended in the water for an extended period. Gradually, the gas within the micro bubbles dissolves into the water and the bubbles disappear. These bubbles are generated by various types of aerators now available in the market.

These micro bubbles, being of extremely small size, are characterized by having electrical charges. They attract suspended floating particles very effectively. This particular property has been used in sludge treatment by using the micro bubbles to capture and float organic matters, thus decreasing the time required for the sludge treatment.

Micro bubbles have also been introduced by the Japanese to market safe and good tasting oysters. Micro bubbles of concentrated oxygen containing about 2% ozone can be used to inactivate norovirus in shellfish and oysters. This norovirus is one of the major pathogens causing food poisoning in winter. This is a much more cost effective method compared to cultivating the oysters in sterile seawater and using chlorine-based germicide.

Another emergent usage of micro bubbles is in the areas of cancer treatment. Scientists are in the process of developing a method of diagnosing cancer lesions by injecting micro bubbles into the blood stream. During the ultrasonic scan for cancer lesions, the micro bubbles contract and expand rapidly due to the pressures produced by the ultrasonic beam. Groups of the micro bubbles at cancerous tumours will show up very visibly on ultrasonic scans to indicate the presence of cancerous cells.

Due to their large surface area volume ratio, micro bubbles can penetrate deeply into a surface for effective cleaning. This cleaning effect of micro bubbles is used in cleaning the inside of vegetables such as cabbage and radish sprout, as well as maintenance of freshness with vegetables in one particular vegetable processing center in Japan.

On a more personal level, the micro bubbles can penetrate deeply into skin for a good scrub without the need for any shampoo or soap. This skin treatment has been introduced within some spas in Japan as well as shops specializing in bathing pets. Needless to say, the baths are especially helpful for pets which have skin allergies to pet shampoos.

Suwa companies are also developing a small handy micro bubble generator which can be used at home. With all the product development going on, very soon, you may be able to purchase a micro bubble generator at your electronics store and relax in a micro bubble bath at home.

How to build big muscles is what every aspiring bodybuilder wants to know. As ever, the question is not as easy as it sounds, and the program used needs to be tailored to the individual. There are basic principles common to everyone, however, and in this article we show you how to build big muscles.

Step 1

Very few people nowadays have the kind of profession which will develop muscle bulk naturally. Muscle building is something which you are going to have to make a special effort to achieve. This will involve a consistent weight training program. Resistance is the only method which can build up muscles if applied consistently. Although resistance training sounds like it will be difficult, and take a lot of time out of your busy life, you will soon reach the stage where you are working out without even needing to think about it.

Step 2

Don’t stop challenging yourself. When you start with weight training, you will probably find that you are making quick progress. Muscle fibers which were dormant are now active. There is a tendency to them become complacent, and stay at the level you have reached. The main problem is not increasing the weight being lifted, and not increasing the strain on the body. As the body adjusts to the weight being lifted, you will need to increase the weight to keep enjoying muscle gain.

How To Build Big Muscles 3

The most easy to understand, yet important fundamental of learning to build big muscles is to lift heavy weights with low reps. That is not to say lighter weights and more reps aren’t beneficial, but in this case the benefit is more one of improving muscle tone and definition. Don’t fall into the trap of so many bodybuilders who end up working harder to pull off extra reps, not realising that this will be of no real value to them.

How To Build Big Muscles 4

When you are ready, expand your programme. Once you have reached a certain level of development, you will find that doing the same old routine again will not yield great results. Many people become frustrated with trying to build big muscles. Parts of muscles gain strength, and seem to almost resist further training. Vary your routine, and you will get over this hurdle. Have more than one routine, and rotate them every few weeks.

This guide has shown you the basics of how to build big muscles from a standing start. Although this is aimed at beginners, it can be applied with benefit by people at all levels. Check out the links below to discover more important resources.

Did you know that “pattern interrupts” are a hypnotist’s secret weapon to getting direct access to someone’s unconscious mind?

In fact they’re so powerful that many years ago a man, who was eventually caught and sent to jail, was using them to STEAL from tons

of restaurants.

More on that in a bit…

Pattern interrupts are so powerful because they work like this…

You break someone’s expectation of how a normal, everyday event should proceed by doing something highly unusual instead.

This creates momentary confusion of their conscious mind and opens a brief doorway to their unconscious mind.

At that precise moment you can then give instructions to their unconscious mind.

And it can be DEVASTATINGLY effective.

Take the man who was banged up in jail for using them. Turns out this dude was easily scamming restaurants left, right and centre. He’d go into expensive restaurants and begin to give an order to a waiter. Halfway through he’d do a pattern interrupt on the unsuspecting waiter. During the moment of confusion he’d give an instruction to ‘forget the bill’, then continue with the order as normal. 9 times out of 10, he’d simply walk out of the restaurant after eating all their nice chow and drinking their fine wine. And without paying a dime!

Of course when you use this kind of hypnosis power criminally, you’ll eventually end up getting busted.

And good job too.

But it doesn’t take away from the fact that pattern interrupts are an incredibly powerful way to access peoples’ unconscious minds whenever you need to.

In fact the friends of the greatest hypnotist of all time, Milton Erickson, use to REFUSE to shake his hand when they’d meet him!

That’s because he’d often have fun using pattern interrupts on them and then instructing them to do little tasks for him.

Mind you that crafty old wizard had so many conversational hypnosis tricks anyhow - if he really wanted to chat with their unconscious minds he could easily have done so - and without them realizing it either!

That’s the beauty of conversational hypnosis - people believe the instructions YOU give them are their idea.

Which is pretty handy!

If you’d like to discover more about pattern interrupts with conversational hypnosis and learn ALL the secret tricks and KILLER techniques of the great Milton Erickson then there’s only one place

to surf over to now.

Chemical and biological warfare are not an invention of the 20th century.

Solon (638-559 BC) used a strong purgative, the herb hellebore, in the siege of Krissa. During the 6th century BC, the Assyrians poisoned enemy wells with rye ergot. In the Peloponnesian War (431-404 BC), the Spartans flung sulfur and pitch at the Athenians and their allies. In the Middle Ages, besiegers used the bloated and dripping bodies of plague victims as readymade “dirty bombs”.

In 1346, during its siege of Kaffa (present day Feodosia in Crimea), the Tartar army suffered an outbreak of the Plague. They hurled the corpses of their infected dead over the city walls and into the city’s water wells. The resulting epidemic led to the city’s surrender. It is widely believed that people afflicted with the horrendous disease fled the place and started the Black Death pandemic which consumed at least one third of Europe’s population within a few years. Russian troops adopted the same tactic against Sweden in 1710.

Smallpox was another favorite. Francisco Pizarro (1476-1541) gave South American natives clothing items deliberately contaminated with the variola virus. During the French and Indian wars in North America (1689-1763), blankets used by smallpox victims were given to American Indians. General Jeffery Amherst (1717-1797) gifted Indians loyal to the French with smallpox-contaminated bedspreads during the French and Indian War of 1754 to 1767. An epidemic broke among the Native American defenders of Fort Carillon and they lost it to the English.

There are three basic groups of Spanish verbs, in these articles we will look at the regular AR, ER and IR verbs.

A verb is a word that means everything from an action to an opinion, so laugh, go, like, hate, love, drink, fall, smile, hear, write turn, are all examples of verbs. In English the verb is not changed by who is doing the action. As an example;

In these phrases, “I like cheese”, “we like cheese” and “you like cheese”, the verb “like” stays the same. In Spanish the form of the verb is changed by who is doing the doing. It might sound odd now but it will make sense later!

So lets look at the three main verb types in Spanish. They are the verbs that end in the letters ar, er and ir. they can then be subdivided into regular and irregular. As we are just starting we will stick to the regular verbs.

Verbs That End In AR

In the Spanish language the group of verbs that end in ar are the most common, so they are a good place to start.

If we use the Spanish verb TOMAR, it means a few different things, but in our case it means to drink. To say “I drink wine” in Spanish we would remove the a and r , then to add an o. to give us “tomo vino”. You could add yo ( the Spanish word for I) at the start of the sentence but it would be unnecessary.

To say “you drink wine” to a single person, again remove the a and r, and add as, to give “tomar vino”.

If we wanted to say that he or she drinks wine, then we remove the ar and add just an a, to give us “toma vino”. This version of tomar would also be used in a formal situation, or if talking to someone for the first time.

When learning our basic Spanish verbs and wanting to say “we drink wine” we add amos to give us “tomamos vino”.

If we wanted to refer to a group when using “you drink wine”, we would add

Have you ever been curious about your future? Have you ever called a phone psychic to get some answers?

If you wonder how “psychics” work, read on. This article is for you.

Most “psychics” are plain scammers. They use cold reading to make calculated guess about the sitters. Cold reading is an interactive psychological technique which extracts information from a person through verbal and non verbal cues. More often than not, psychics utilize known psychology techniques that can apply to almost anyone. An example would be claiming the sitter is cursed and he or she could lift that curse for a fee, because most people visit a psychic when they are down and depressed, “being cursed” is a quick, convenient reason to blame. Paying the fee to lift the curse would be the quickest solution to their complicated life problems.

There seems to be several common factors in psychic readings. The psychic usually:

+Skillfully extracts information from non verbal cues such as breathing patterns, voice, dress, skin color, and body language.

+ Makes statements that seem to give information when they are actually out to fish for it. E.g. Prompts feedback from sitters by saying “I see a man in uniform, why would that be?”

+Feeds back to the subject what the latter wants to hear

+Makes general “Barnum statements” such as “You are worrisome on the outside but insecure on the inside.”

The sitter of the reading is the key to a ’successful’ reading. The sitter’s willingness to connect vague ‘clues’ came up by the psychic will often decide how successful the reading is. Many sitters who try to contact their deceased loved ones are very motivated in the first place, and will take the psychic’s message as a sign that he or she have made contact with the other side. That is why psychics subtly encourage cooperation before and during the reading. Once the psychic gains the trusts of the sitter, the latter usually actively supply information and clarifications.

Although facial expressions and body languages could mean differently to people from different cultural backgrounds, many psychologists believe that certain facial and body expressions are universal to the mankind.

How to tell dominance: People who dominates have a tenancy to stand up with an erected body, speaks slowly and rarely, and look people in their eyes for an extended period of time. Because of the demonstrated link between testosterone and aggression, people with square jaws ( testosterone induced feature) are thought as more domineering and aggressive.

How to tell submissiveness: Submissive people touches themselves a lot when they are confronted with a difficult situation. This is because human have an inborn mechanism acquired very early on in life to link physical touching with comfort and safety.

Most important to keep in mind: Real, powerful psychics don’t advertise on the back of a supermarket magazine and do readings for $1.99.
